Nije loše započeo ovaj tjedan. Dobila sam jednu slatku malu nagradu, a prosljeđujem je dalje pa neka bar malo razveseli i druge čiji postovi mene razvesele i inspiriraju. Odgovore sam pisala na engleskom jer mi se nije dalo toliko teksta prevoditi (lijena sam, priznajem).

Vikend druženje i prekrasan stan moje prijateljice Ines bili su inspiracija za ovaj damski look. Zid koji bojom odskače od svih ostalih u stanu i ova jednostavna slika na njemu najdraži su mi kutak njenog životnog prostora. Iako je cijeli stan veseo kao i njegova vlasnica, crveni auto koji tiho prolazi kroz crno-bijelu životnu priču, svaki dan iznova, uvijek u meni izazove neku neobjašnjivu sjetu. 

Hanging around with my friend Ines at her beautiful apartment was the main inspiration for this lady look. This wall, different from all the others and this simple photo on it is my favourite spot at her place. Although the whole place is pretty cheerful, like the owner, this red car that slips quietly through the black&white story of a life, every day all over again, makes me feel somehow... melancholic.

It's always darkest before the dawn

Zanimljivo je kako se dosta ljudi osjeća nekako najudobnije u crnom. Imala sam i ja fazu kad mi je upravo ta (ne)boja zauzimala veći dio ormara. Onda sam se počela otkrivati drugim bojama- i one meni, uzorcima, printevima, nebrojenim kombinacijama svega navedenog...Ipak, ponekad se probudi ona stara ja koja  korača svijetom u sigurnom oklopu od tmine.

It's funny how whole lot of people feel best while wearing black. I also had a phase when my closet was full of black clothes. Then I started to discover other colours, patterns, prints, numerous combinations of all this... Although, that old me wakes up sometimes and goes out in her safety shell made of black.

Little pink houses for you and me

Svi na svijetu imaju ono neko mjesto koje im je sigurna luka, koje nazivaju domom. Ja sam sretna što imam dva takva-jedan zadarski, drugi zagrebački. Oba volim na svoj način i ne volim kad me pitaju koji mi je draži. Kad me naljuti vanjski svijet uvijek se mogu povući u svoje utočište u kojem me vodene kugle odvedu na daleka putovanja u samo jednoj sekundi, dream catcher se pobrine za lijepe snove, a papirnati ždralovi podsjećaju da se želje ipak ostvaruju...

Everyone has that one safe place called home. I'm happy to have two-one in Zadar, other in Zagreb. I love both of them and don't like to be asked which one is my favourite. When the world gets down on me I can always stay in my shelter where my water balls take me to a journey in a second, dream catcher takes care for happy dreams and paper cranes remind me that wishes do come true...

'Cause forever happens once not twice

Znate onaj osjećaj kad budilica luduje u ponedjeljak ujutro, a vama u toplom i udobnom krevetu pada na pamet samo to kako mrzite cijeli svijet zbog toga jer se morate ustati baš u tom trenu, još samo koja minuta sna vrijedila bi zlata... Onda ipak (i dalje nevoljko) otvorite rolete na prozorima i shvatite da je van toliko lijep dan da bi možda čak osjećali i malu grižnju savjesti da ga pola prespavate. Upalite radio, skuhate kavu i onaj mali Grinch u vama se brzo povuče i čeka na neke nove ponedjeljke. U ovom sam odlučila uživati!

You know that feeling on Monday morning when your alarm drives you crazy while you lay in warm and cozy bed thinking about how you hate the whole world because of the fact that you have to get up, if only I could sleep for few minutes more... Then you move curtains off your window and realize that there is a beutiful day outside, so beautiful that you would maybe feel guilty if you sleep over it. When you turn on the radio and make coffee that little Grinch inside of you dissapears and decides to wait for some new Monday. In this one I'm going to enjoy!

Right place, wrong time

Od svih prošlih desetljeća uvijek mi se nekako čini kao da su '70e bile najsretnije doba. Kao da su svi bili opušteni, veseli, neopterećeni bilo čime... Živjeli su život punim plućima, družili se i upijali inspiraciju iz cijele okoline. U zraku je bila sloboda, na odjeći šareni printevi  i cvijeće, a na nebu vječito sunce. Ponekad poželim da samo na trenutak mogu otputovati...

Of all the past decades 70s always seem like the happiest period. Seems like all the people were so relaxed, happy, not stressed with anything at all... They lived their lives fully, hangin around and got inspired from everything around them. You could smell freedom in the air, clothes was covered with colorful prints and flowers, sun was always up in the sky. If only I could travel there for a moment...

Iako je tek početak siječnja već maštam o proljeću, valjda zbog toplih temperatura... Zato su me valjda začarale ove slike divnih outfita, tako prozračnih! 

Although we are still in the first half of the January I'm already thinking about spring, maybe because of the unusually warm temperatures for this time of year... I guess that's why I'm completely charmed with this georgeous outfits, so airy!

Neradni dan, sunce visoko na nebu, bezbrižno ispijanje kave... Čini se kao savršen uvod u produženi vikend. Da ne zaboravim spomenuti da sam bila sinoć u kinu, neplanirano gledala Muškarce koji mrze žene (super mi je film) i shvatila zašto je cijeli svijet poludio za Rooney Marom. Tako je posebna i totalno sam pod dojmom. Uživajte u vikendu!

Day off, sun all over the sky, drinking coffee without no stress... Seems like the perfect intro to the long weekend. And yes, I went to movies last night to see Girl with the draggon tattoo (liked it very much) and realized why the whole world has gone crazy about Rooney Mara. She is so special, I'm totally impressed. Enjoy the weekend!
